Hello World! Everyone knows that I love baking cookies, cakes, and pies. I enjoy reinventing traditional desserts and making them into something that feels new, yet have the same old-fashioned feeling.
I swear, the time between New Years and February goes by in the blink of an eye. With so many new resolutions, so many chocolate desserts, so many Valentine treats to bake, … listen, I really have to concentrate. It’s really one of my favorite times of the year. It feels reflective and celebratory and there are desserts…everywhere.
How many baked goods, how many peachy treats can I make to celebrate the month of love? Peaches are a fruit that is best during the summer months, so I preserved them via canning and bake with them throughout the year.
Peaches and pecans are the perfect combo to make all of your sweet dreams come true, especially when it comes in the form of an all American pie. Oh my, it’s so amazingly delicious.
